Planned to upgrade to top-of-the line on Pedro, Ol' Pete Alexander and the Doc (White) so my starting staff would be Gibson, Martinez, Alexander and Doc White with Tom Hughes and Chick Brandom doing the relief chores.

I haven't made final moves yet - holding on to some guys depending on advice I receive.

It's a DH league - have Mitchell and Clines to platoon there or could let O'Rourke do it from both sides.

Planned on keeping Garvey, and dropping Cash.
Planned on dropping Joe Jackson and his brotha from a different motha Reggie and upgrading Larry Walker to his max card.

I'm in Sportsmans '41 (8,8,20,6) other in my division Busch '67 (11,11,9,9) and Polo '11 (2,8,7,16) and Shibe '41 (6,6,3,15).
This is the final installment of a 4 league "tourney". I just ended up dead last in the previous 3rd installment, which included a 20 game losing streak (yes, I said 20) at the tail end of the season. So I'm looking for some paybacks. Or at least competitiveness.

With the exception of Walker, Yogi and Stan THE Man, you are not taking enough advantage of your park. The SP should be great. I like Duffy in any park, but I'd suggest you consider some LH bats or switch hitters in the infield to get some advantage in the 81 home games you will play.

I suggest you get rid of the bad Norm Cash (double play machine) and Garvey combo and pick up a BP homerun friendly first baseman. or Roger Connor (he is injury proof like Garvey)

The biggest mistake I make in ATG is choosing a high OBA lineup and neglecting high SLG.

I'd simplify the team (40% $ in pitching and 60% $ in hitting)

For pitching, I'd invest in 3 LHSPs (mix straight and reverse) and 1 reverse RHSP (Martinez) with your 5th SP being hard R. With a LH park, you want to face RH bats every possible chance.

For relief, I've never used Hughes or Brandom. Consider another reverse LH and a reverse RH reliever

Hitters, Hugh Duffy isn't a value play for the park.

Upgrade Reggie to his 5.38 card. Otherwise, I'd go with Willie Stargell 4.84 or Jeff Heath 4.67 + a platoon of Joe Charb
