Barnstormers 2014 Signup Sheet

The tournament will feature the usual 6-event schedule, starting around the start of the MLB season and coming to
the Semi and Final rounds after the World Series (to extend YOUR own MLB enjoyment). The board of directors and I have debated the merits of the Live Draft, the 24-team event, the shuffle event and have come up with the most diverse set of 6 events we have ever had. This tournament will feature ALL of the CAPS, including both 60 Mil, 140 Mil, and for the first time EVER, a 200 Mil event. You said you wanted it, and now you have it. - A 100 Mil DH event will
kick off Barnstormers and a 100 Mil NO DH will wrap it up, with 60/80/140/200 Mil. events all sandwiched in between.
The tourney will continue to give you an opportunity to "drop" your lowest scoring event, and to have a semi-final
round for the last three spots in the Championship round. Gone is the shuffle event, gone is the 24-team event,
and the possible live draft event is on still on the back burner, pending improvements that will make it more attractive
as a Barnstormers Event. The Commish may still allow a live draft to take place over the autodraft, IF we can get
12 players to agree on a specific day and time, and being aware of the current time limits for a live draft.
The usual prizes are the same as last year. For the Champion, 4-tickets to a MLB game of your choice, and the SOM
computer or board game. The runner-up will get 2 MLB tix. Also, in each event, an extra credit is given for the
best record per stadium grouping, plus all of the credits you can win normally.

Signups will be taken here through to the end of the SECOND EVENT.
Last year, nearly 140 players put their best foot forward to participate, lets shoot for more this year. Open to
skilled players and novices alike, the Barnstormers Tournament is now in it's 12th consecutive year of putting the
best to the test. No one has ever repeated as Champion. The signup sheet will be here, but all players at minimum
will need to send an e-mail to the Commish at moose@sirmightymoose.com and give one - hopefully two e-mail addresses that will be used to let you know when an event will be starting. Thats the only requirement, other than buying your 5 or 6 teams.
