TRIPLE PLAY!

Also got some choice double switch work by HAL. Red Sox fans will love the irony of actually moving Bill Buckner to 3b for late inning defensive work...

I keep waiting for these double switches to hurt me in the field and they don't seem to. I suspect my crazy double super reliever team is the reason for all the double switches, HAL never used to do these for my teams. I suspect I've forced his hand, but I also suspect he's plain loco.

Actually I believe the triple play is a bit more common here than in regular baseball....don't have any facts but I seem to notice them here more often.

Very definitely - in later versions of the computer game, the universal 1-roll triple play on the batter's card has been changed to a triple play 1-7 double play 8-20. Assuming that there are two or more runners on base with none out about 5% of the time, a triple play occurs about once every (216 / .05) or 4320 rolls, which is more than one per team per season. I'm too lazy to go get my copy of "The Hidden Game..." to see what the actual percentage is, but I'll bet it's somewhere around 4-5%.
