MINI $140 DH Franchise League FILLED - Waiting to Draft

TEAM # PENDING DRAFT ORDER
1 - nomadbrad

Here's how it would work....

1 - once we have 6 owners we go to a private room and run a randomizer.
2 - over a couple of days, we draft our 4 franchises like so:

6 teams draft for franchises would work like this:
Round 1:
1 2 3 4 5 6

Round 2: snake
6 5 4 3 2 1

Round 3: SAME as round 2!!
6 5 4 3 2 1

Round 4: SAME as round 2!!
6 5 4 3 2 1


3 - Now we set a normal PRIVATE Auto Draft League with password, we draft from those 4 franchises.

If a player has 2 or more cards with differing franchises.....the HIGHEST $ card wins the tie breaker and belongs to that owner.

4 - Each owner builds their BEST $140M DH team from the 4 franchises....PLUS picks a STADIUM from one of the 4 Franchises.

PRIMO Franchises : BOS Redsox, NY Yankees, CLE Indians, CHIcubs, CHIsox, CIN Reds, DET Tigers, Phillies, PIT Pirates, STL Cardinals, Dodgers (LA & Bkln), Braves (Bos, Mil & Atl), A's (Phi, KC and Oak), Giants (NY & SF) and yes, NeL.

Also Rans: HOU Astros, WAS Senators, STL Browns, MIN Twins, KC Royals, MIL Brewers, Angels, SEA Mariners,Tex Rangers, TOR BlueJays, MTL Expos,SD Padres, COL Rockies, FL Marlins, ARI DBacks

** The Dodgers, Braves, A's and Giants are all package franchises, so if you take the Dodgers you get BOTH LA and Bkln

New MINI Private $140 Franchise League Concept

Tired of drafting 2 teams and seeing who can build the best $140M team out of the 2 franchises? You draft 8th or worse and can't ever recover since the top teams easily load up from the Yankees, NEL, Cardinals, Giants, etc.

Here's a UNIQUE TWIST!

Only 6 owners......and we don't draft from 2 franchises, now we draft from 4 franchises.

This helps the owner that drafts 4th, 5th, 6th in the first round to try and catch back up to the top 3 franchises that get a significant advantage with the top picked franchises.

Any chance to up the cap to say $160M - considering all the talent from 4 teams?

Also, is this DH or non DH, and are trades allowed?

I'm not sure i understand all of it, but it sounds interesting. i'm in, if you'll let me.

Yes this league will be DH...we're going to stick with $140M for this time around....yes it WILL create some tough decisions on who to use and not use from the 4 franchises....Think of it this way....we're each creating our own strand of about 700 to 900 players each that we will be creating our own rosters from with a cap of $140.

Kunkel is putting together a slightly different twist that we will be rolling out in 2 to 3 weeks that will ALSO be a mini 6 owner league in which we will also do 4 franchises also, but with a different twist by infusing the NeLers into some of the weaker franchises to make them more attractive and viable. If you'd like to work with Kunkel and I on that we can discuss upping the CAP to 160 for that rendition that will be ready like I said in 2 to 3 weeks.

To answer another question by Jeff (Muellerwstn)...in this 6 owner mini league there is not trading....you'll have your own list of about 700+ players to choose from (depending on the franchises you choose) to create your own roster with a $140M cap.....I hope it's a little clearer now.
