Gene Clines hit for the cycle, going 6-7 with a single, two doubles, a triple, and two home runs, along with six RBI.

And Gene Clines is only batting .475 in 99 at bats. What do you say to that J ALOU, Dennis Walling, Gary Roenicke!!!

In Gene's rookie year, he did hit .400+ over 25+ games. When properly motivated, Gene can hit.

Bob Prince used to call him "Little Angry." I have no idea why.
