Garcia's Blog 4/26/2014

PostSat Apr 26, 2014 9:54 pm

Hello gang!!!

Let's buy those 5-pack team specials while they last! Over the last few weeks, there have been questions on improving lineups and pinch-hitters. OK, get some hitters (doesn't matter what position they play, they don't play the field while at bat), who have a high OBP and some speed. Some leagues are a DH, and some are not. Look what you signed up for. If this is confusing, buy some more 5-team packs and start over. In the team strategy section, you can fill in a player who is designated to pinch hit. It can be a 7L hitter or an 8R hitter. Just put in the best you can, remember, it's still up to the dice roll to get results. We have no control over that. Sorry.

I talked about injuries last time, and wish to touch on the subject again. Players get injured, too bad. Be sure to warm up before game time, and get your flu shots. If you have a lot of injuries, buy more 5-team packs and try again.

Here's a new subject, shutouts! Your team got shutout and you lost ground in the standings. Evidently, you did something wrong. Rearrange your lineup and try again. If you keep getting shutout, you drafted the wrong players. Buy more 5-team packs and try again.

That's what I have for today. If anyone has any questions/comments please e-mail us at onlinegamesupport@strat-o-matic.com. Have a great weekend everyone!

Sincerely,
Delivery Boy...

That pretty much sums up what SOM thinks is communication between the company and its customers.. LMAO

Either, they don't have a clue or they don't care.

Delivery Boy, you should do a blog every week. It's way more entertaining than anything Garcia posts.

That's if they don't exile you from the MB's.

Guys it's not a real "job" for any of them including H. Richman. It's a few guys that do their part time, in their spare time, and just enough to keep the ship from sinking.

This imo is why with what is now supposedly FOUR programmers/helpers/staff whatever, and still additions, fixes, game improvements etc get done at the same snail's pace as when it was just Bernie. Hal is content, as is his right to be as owner, with status quo. The others probably follow Bernie's here today gone tomorrow lead, with as it's always been, no real accountability in sight.

Hal is Hal, Bernie and the other three seem very nice when I met them, nice game of course, so nice guys, nice game, but you won't find any urgency among them, just apathy.
