Hello again. The bandwagon is picking up speed and forcing SOM to at least address the issue of new card additions to the ATG VII set. Are we asking too much? Naw. I can't wait till I see another John Garcia Blog. At least Hal did give us new players and made good on the promise. Thanks. Looking back, he did do a good job on it.
Sooooo here's the frequently asked question:

WHEN ARE WE GONNA GET NEW CARDS!!!! :o :o :o :o

WHEN ARE WE GONNA GET NEW CARDS!!!! :o :o :o :o

WHEN ARE WE GONNA GET NEW CARDS!!!! :o :o :o :o

WHEN ARE WE GONNA GET NEW CARDS!!!! :o :o :o :o

Sincerely,
Delivery Boy....

I'm also wondering if only 1 person asks 10 questions, it only counts as 1.

I have a question and a point related to this.

Question

What, if anybody knows, determines when we move from one ATG set (e.g., ATG6) to another set (e.g., ATG7)? Is it a matter of infusion of many new cards?

Point

I think, as a community, we want continuous new card additions. If they come back and give us a one time infusion of 15 new cards, I'm not sure that is going to satisfy everyone.

I'm not even sure SOM is planning an ATG VIII set. There's nothing wrong with adding new cards to an already existing set whether it be a couple 2-4M cards, relief pitchers, catchers, or bench players. The 5.79M Cesar Geronimo wasn't an over-expensive player and popular in the 100M and below leagues. SS Erik Aybar and CF Jelly Gardner are gaining popularity also and 2 of my favs. Not bad for under 4M. We're not asking for a new batch of 10-12M dollar players. Jose Mendez at 1.01M is a good bench guy along with Gene Clines, Vic Davillio, and Shano Collins. It is a pity that we have more Lee Lacy cards than Manny Ramirez cards. Oh, 1972 Don Sutton too, get him in. How about that! What are we asking for? 10-15 cards a month. Even 10 will do!!! Shifting of prices doesn't count for much. I'm paying for my next team with my Mallo Cup cardboard coins.

Sincerely,
Delivery Boy...

That would be fine by me too. It'd be nice to go back to the way Bernie was doing it when the game was still at TSN: adding something like 25-30 new cards at different price levels every couple of months or so.
