New Cards, My 2 cents

Here is a question...

What great players from the past don't have cards in the ATG VII? This isn't a sarcastic question, i'm just wondering if any are missing? Is it that some players don't have every year they did well? Or is CHUCK123 talking about more mid-levels cards from players who have had good careers or also guys who had one great career year?

I like the idea of including every great player in the history of baseball. And every player who had a career year. Also it would be awesome to get more recent players added as well, if there are some missing from the players of today.

Scott.

My 2 cents back at ya. I don't see the problem with adding new cards, even if they are mid-range 3-5M players. Those guys can make a difference on a team, even if it's just 1 player. I'd like to see some of the more recent stars included, even platoon guys. It's something to look forward to and an improvement in the game. How many players do we have in the ATG VII set? Around 2,000. I can see SOM management declaring, "How many teams in a league? 12. How many player on a team? Around 24. So, they only use 188 out of 2,000 and can't manage with what they have? Less than 10%!!! Cry babies!!! WAAAAAA!!!" The word that come to mind here is stagnant. In a few months, we can have 30 more players to choose. What happens when we create all the cards possible and everyone is happy? We'll find something else to complain about. Japanese League SOM!!! Minor League SOM. Make up your own cards SOM! Sandlot SOM! I just think it's fun. Nothing more than that. I'd like to see a Frank Bailey card, a andycummings card, Salty card, or Delivery Boy card. :D

I'm also waiting for Garcia's Blog on Thursday.... this should be good.

Sincerely,
Delivery Boy...
