team status conundrum

PostTue May 27, 2014 11:59 am

I have a team that has been done for a couple of weeks now, but it's status says "season over" rather than "missed playoffs."

So it keeps showing up in my active teams whenever I do the blanket "show all active teams" on the display option screen.

Like it's in limbo and won't go to the fiery depths of hell where most of my teams now dwell? This happen to anyone else?

Never seen that. Apparently Hal does not want you to forget this team feel short of goals.

I have about a dozen teams that have finished their seasons, some going back to 2011 and the status shows either "end of season" or "playoffs". The rest of my teams are archived showing a status like "missed playoffs" or "championship" etc. I don't know what triggers some teams to get the end of season status vs missed playoffs status.

Perhaps it shows one status once the regular season is over for those teams not making the playoffs and then changes to the other once the playoffs are completed. So your status is missed playoffs after game 162 is completed and while the 4 playoff teams duke it out. Then once finals are over it switches to end of season. Or vice versa.

It was a six-team league, so no playoffs.

The status alternates between "(end of regular season)" when it's in the active listing and "season over" when it's in the archived list. But it always jumps back up to active when I do the blanket "hide results of all active teams". So - it's a mystery to me. Might have something to do with it having been in a six team league? Or......maybe it's because the name of the team is "Groundhogs Day?"

Did you ever uncheck the "Hide your Front Office scores" after the season ended? That's what changed the status and moved my finished teams off my active list.

That fixes it for me only until I check the "hide all active teams' scores" at which time this team jumps back up into the active team listing.
