Two problems with ATG 8 cards

1) Not sure which are the new or upgraded cards. In the past, all the new or upgraded cards were specifically linked to, and we understood the new cards. Now we don't.

2) Not sure if SOM accepted our community's suggestions on new cards. It is hard to decipher given the way it was rolled out, and because of the aforementioned issue of not knowing exactly what the cards that were changed or introduced truly are.

Just my five cents. I'm happy we got new cards. Thanks for that. But we need a more transparent explanation of what's involved.

I'm not certain this answers your question, but if you download the Excel spreadsheet, on the far right there is a notation of cards that are "upgraded from ATG 7" or "new to ATG8" You can apply the filter and just look at the new/changed cards alone.

Hope this helps!

mrharryc: pls don't think this as directed at you because it is NOT and your info is useful and welcome, but...

yeah, I don't spend enough time on excel during the day at work, so, I REALLY appreciate needing to use it when I come here (SOM online) to play my game.

just sayin' it would be nice if the game here were self-contained, or 'full-featured'

point being, I think most of the complaints I've seen about the new rollout seem pretty justified.

slightly off-topic, but I need to vent:

my favorite lefty reliever, Terry (big tub of goo - if you remember the Letterman incident) Forster has gone from a decent, AFFORDABLE, lefty-killer who has some utility against righties because of his historical balance (15vslhb 85vsrhb) to a sort of Bill Walker clone. oh well...

looks like I won't be filling my 3 relievers requirement with Abernathy, McBean, and Forster in 8, dang.
