Can someone explain how Lave Cross homers on his card when he doesn't have a home run chance?

There have been times when I've played the computer (CD) game when a manager has the option of trying to stretch a triple into a homer, a double into a triple, etc. Is this what happened?

This shows it's a triple stretched into HR:

0 L.Cross 2-6 Home Run (CF) b-H F9

The 2-6 is Cross's roll on the play, and a 2-6 is a triple chance vs both LHP & RHP.
