Lofton or McGee

Haven't used McGee yet, but I could save a few dollars.

Have all pitcher parks (Braves 41, Royals 78, and another Forbes 57). Pitchers are split pretty evenly between righty/lefty. My one concern is most of my hitters are lefty leaning so I may tweak that some. I am going to pitch the starters until their arms fall off, but I may pick up a minor RP.

My 3B will be Wagner. Clines and maybe Garr will platoon at DH.

Thoughts and suggestions always welcome

Have never tried that Geronimo but I can say that I have had excellent luck with McGee (moreso than Lofton) in that kind of park.

I guess I am in the minority, but Dahlen has never worked very well for me. I know some people think he is great. I do know that you are going to have a lot of errors (and injury risk) playing Dahlen beside Wagner (before he learned to catch the ball, apparently) on the left side of the infield.

I agree with your concern. You hit lefties too much and may struggle to score vs righties

Lofton
McGee

Ichiro is my top pick for smallball. Lots of success with JAlou/Garr at DH.
Geronimo is golden.

I am using many of those same guys. Lofton can put up big numbers but remember he CAN get hurt for up to 15 games at a time, so have a decent backup if you use Lofton. I am using Lofton and Hugh Duffy and both of them ground into very few double plays. Lofton has a great card and it is priced right as long as you do not mind the injury chance. McGee is solid too for his price.
