Assume the following:

Galarraga is your platoon 1Bman. Lefty starter comes out in sixth. How do you get platoon partner to pinch hit?

I have Galarraga's settings to avoid rhp and don't pinch hit for v. Lefty. Galarraga's platoon partner did not pinch hoist for him. How can I get that to happen? I only want Galarraga' in when lefty starter is in.

The avoid settings only applies to bench players and there is no DO PH for against LHP/RHP options. Insane.

I've put "Platoon Priority" on a few wish lists.

In this case, you'd want Galarraga's platoon mate to be the prio, so Galarraga is listed in a Platoon Pair with, let's say Bill Terry.

Some way to set Terry as the prio in the platoon gets him in for Galarraga as soon as a RHP comes in the game. I think it has to be kept that simple, without multiple options that would make it less likely HAL would be able to follow a Platoon option with 10-12 setting. Then with this idea, Terry is in the game for the duration, with the possibility of being pulled for a normal D replacement, which exists today.
