What's your record? (I don't see that category in the record books).

I just had a team win 16 in a row, which felt good, but I bet there are much longer ones out there.

My best ever (I think) was 20 straight wins, with an '80s mystery card leave. Here's the team schedule, which I'm not sure you can read: http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/team/schedule/651359
This team had another streak of 16 wins.

The team was very streaky all season long.. It got off to a 4-10 start, won six straight, and then dropped 3 in a row. At that point it was 10-13. Then, after a stint of .500 ball leaving me 16-19, the team went on its 16 game winning streak, leaving me at 32-19. Then came another iffy stretch, leaving me at 41-30.

This is when the team reeled off 20 straight wins. Suddenly, I was at 61-30. Then came some more bad baseball, then a 9-1 stretch. Then came a bit more bumbling around, closing with 5 straight losses.

The three really good streaks (45-1 combined), put me at 99 wins, but I was 44-62 outside the good streaks. The team got hot again in the playoffs and won a championship, but it was definitely a roller-coaster ride.

This is why I say one can't really judge a team by any short stretch of play. It takes a whole season for a team to show itself and even then a bad run in the playoffs can do in a great team. But this is true of real baseball as well.

I wouldn't mind trying to add something like this to the record books, but as with all other items, we need to find a way to verify the record by a link, so if we can manipulate a link to point to "Your Team" - "Schedule" and you can clearly see every win for that team (or at least "see" the record) then it can be done.

My longest win streak was 17 games, I can't find the league right now, so you'll just have to take my word for it...

I have a Barnstormers team that lost 17 in a row. That team is now 55-41

Current team 20 game winning streak snapped last night. This included 12 straight on the road.

Prior to this, I have had a bunch of teams win 2 games in a row.

Howser, that was one hell of a run, and sorta miffed nobody said anything in a league mailing...

Tho our division is sooooo weak, that nobody else in the league besides our division may have noticed one of our teams over .500!

Yes, I can see the team, so this would work. Of course, records from the 80's leagues are not being maintained.

But if someone uses this kind of link from the ATG game, I will try to create a category for it.

Here's an active seventeen game win streak. Lost first game of season, then went on a tear.
