Substitution Woes

PostThu Aug 28, 2014 8:18 am

I have the Expos in this theme league.
HAL decides to pull Grissom, a 1(-2)e4 in CF for the "AWESOME" Endy Chavez, a 2(-2)e7.

Grissom didn't get hurt.
Grissom is a better defender.
Grissom's settings : Don't bunt or H/R, Steal more, Don't PH for vs LH/RH, Don't PR for

I sent this off the Strat a few minutes ago. I'm waiting for an answer. Yes I won the game, but had I lost because of a single given up by the newly added Chavez, I would have blown a gasket or 2.

I wonder if the software bug always seems to affect the player in the lineup immediately preceding the player who had to leave the game. I reported a similar (but not the same) problem to the game company in January, but, got no reply. My superior fielding third baseman who batted eighth (Reitz) would always be substituted for in the next inning whenever my 3rd baseman backup (Howell) would pinch-hit for the catcher batting ninth.
