one of the other managers in a league ($80M cap) I am in now is CERTAIN that momentariy another manager in the league made a waiver drop and a pickup that put his total cap at $82M. currently, the team is at a normal sub$80M cap, but...


has anyone seen that happen elsewhere?

I am in that league and if you add up the transactions in the past 2 weeks and add on the 20% penalty, the roster salary does not add up...any ideas?

If you are talking about Low Country River Dawg then something doesn't add up. CORRECT you should email customer support. I've seen it during Auto Draft, but not during the season.

This is something someone posts about every few months here. One would think Strato would have identified and corrected this bug by now. Definitely should be emailed in.

Seeing this keep coming up makes me wonder if it has happened in any of my past leagues. I rarely pay that much attention to the transactions by other teams. So in theory this could happen in every league and I probably would not notice. Having to watch for this type thing turns the fun game in to more of a job.

Yes, during season if you exchange a player's cards, even though same player, for a different year you should get hit with the penalty.
The game treats each year of a player as separate. The 99 version card gets injured the 98 card if picked up is not injured. But dropping that 99 season should incur a drop penalty since it is officially a free agent drop. If that is not what is happening it should be reported because that would be a bug.

WOW, guy has dropped about $50M in an $80M 20% FA penalty league. Should have about $70M left, but has $78.5m

If this is true, the entire league should be replayed. Doesn't seem right that a team can play with an unfair advantage. Let us know what Strat says and does about this. Looks like we should all take a closer look at our leagues.

another screwy thing I just noticed, the team in question is in first by 7 games but has a -37 run diff while the team in 2nd in the division has a +82 run diff after game 153.


HAL must be Joe Torre-ing or Tony LaRussa-ing the begeezus outta that lineup and pen.
