ATG Modern Era- No Steroids- The Best 30 Years

Is anyone up for an ATG8 theme league where the player pool is limited to the modern era, say the 1960-1989. No cards could be selected prior to 1960 or later than 1989. This would exclude players who played in the whites only era, Negro League era, and modern day steroids era. I would definitely want a DH but I would be open to a salary cap of anywhere between 80- 100 million bucks.

I would also be open to making it 1947- 1989 or even 1947-1994 but I would not want any players prior to 1947 or any Negro League players and no players after 1989 or 1994 at the very latest...

In the past there does not seem to be much support for a league such as this. I know a lot of the veteran GMs like theme leagues and reducing the player pool size. I just do not really go for the theme leagues that limit guys based on their fielding ability or balance rating (it seems so random)....

I have never been able to rally people to any of my theme ideas in the past. But it is at least worth a try I suppose...

This might be good for people who like the 60s, 70s, and 80s Mystery Leagues...? Anyone game?

All leagues were $100 mil advanced. The first two leagues were no DH, as DH didn't exist during those time periods. The last two leagues were DH. Stadiums were from the corresponding time period.

The player pool was smaller then, but there was no problem filling all 4 leagues and most of the managers stuck around leagues 1-4. The leagues required a little research on baseball-reference.com to determine player eligibility.

We did that draft on the boards over the course of a weekend or so - one of the most challenging drafts I've ever participated in due to the limited pool.
