I've spent my whole life going to two of the parks on this list!

I saw many a baseball game at old Cleveland stadium and close to 100 pro football games there. I also saw Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead twice at Three Rivers.

I've been to hundreds of games at Candlestick. The wind and cold was so bad there, they used to give out Croix de Candlesticks if you stayed through an entire extra inning night game. Papers and beer cups were perpetually swirling; it was terrible.

But the worst viewing experience I ever had was at Fenway, an old school favorite. The right field seats are tightly squeezed together to further dampen an already poor viewing experience. Lansdowne regulars will cry "heresy," but I would have taken a frigid, windy Candlestick night any day.

A friend of mine still has his two Croix de Candlesticks and wears them occasionally. Funny thing is someone always comments on them and tells a favorite "Stick" story. I have also seen many, many games at Candlestick. Say what you want about the Stick but I, for one, will shed more than a few tears when they tear it down for condos. The Philistines who will pay exorbitant prices for their shacks will not even realize that they are trodding on hallowed ground....and memories. Sweet memories. Say Hey Willie indeed.

They were saying during a Rangers-Mariners game this year that there was still 2 years left on paying off the Kingdome when it was demolished. They show that implosion at least once every year during a Ranger-Mariner telecast.

Not unusual, it seems; when Three Rivers was imploded they owed more on it than the original cost (which was 35 million).

Yep, the "renovations" of 3Riv are a big part of the reason for the 21-year losing streak. But I object to having 3Riv as the representative for the spaceship stadiums. Of the 3 I was ever in, the Vet was by far the worst (and Riverfront by far the best).

I'm surprised that Tropicana Field could not break into the bottom 10.

No Shea Stadium? The damn airplanes to and from Laguardia should be enough to make the list
