If I wanted on single hitter to absolutely carry my team against RH pitching no matter what rest of team looked like who would come closest to doing that.
Two sides to the question. Who would you choose if there was not going to be money available to have a platoon partner so the batter would have to be serviceable against lefties? Who would it be if one was willing to go so all out to have that best LH hitter I was willing to also spend the money to get a great platoon partner?

Also depends upon the park, but...
Kal Daniels has been a monster for me and others.

It does depend on your cap and what position you are trying to fill as well as your risk of injury tolerance.
Babe Ruth and Barry Bonds are pretty good at hitting RHP
Depending on the park and cap, Irv Noren, Klu, Carew, Gates Brown can be the right platoon guys.

I played a lot of 80s Mystery Card leagues early on, and Kal Daniels was one of my go-to guys. Four of his five cards were useable, but this was his best platoon card. It's nice to have it now in ATG, and for less than it cost in the 80s for a non-guaranteed card.
I haven't had Daniels yet, but I have seen him burn up the league in other hands. Of course, the 2 injury is an issue, but there are ways of dealing with that....
Of course, Barry is great, but he costs a lot more.
