Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

Has anybody had any success using the Closer vs. R/L settings for the bullpen? Or are those like the "Rem 4 def sub" setting for the hitters -- to never be used? I have Dave Smith and am thinking Closer vs. R, but will most likely just go conservative and keep him as a RH specialist. Wondering though ...

I really only use Closer vs L or R in conjunction with a strong reliever. I'm using Telulve as Closer vs R, Ramon Hernandez Closer Vs L, and Miljus as Setup, middle Man, and most everything else in a Franchise League for Pirates. Working so far.

Other than that, I usually don't set up a pen in that fashion.

On this $60 million team I had success with a pen of:

Horacio Pina - Closer v. R
Frank Dipino - Closer v. L
Rick Wise - RH Specialist, Mopup
Scott Shields & Bill Campbell - LH Specialists
All with Quick hooks.

plus a strong starting 4....
