Why can't we block league mail spam?

But after ten years I grow weary of having to delete endless spams from the same group of about 10 managers. If I want to join a league, I just check the available league directory. This should be a simple functionality to implement, the spammers can mail away and those who don't want to waste times deleting the spam, and actually be made aware of non-spam league mail, can also be made happy.
