Please read here for more information.

Two expansion era teams will have their players added to ATG. Users can vote for their top 2 teams to add in this poll and a pre-war team to be added in a separate poll here.

The poll ends on Thursday, July 16th, so make sure to get your votes in before then!

The legendary 1994 Montreal Expos is a must!! 1994 is a strike-shortened season, so it would be fun to see what this team was capable of.

That season the Expos had a 74-40 record, good enough for the best record in baseball. They were a team that appeared to be set up with great young players for years to come. A young Pedro, Larry Walker, Wetteland, Ken Hill, "The Marquis", Moises Alou....

What about the 2001 Mariners. They won 116 games, only to lose out in the ACLS?

I don't get it. What is so significant about these particular teams and their rosters? I really would love to play the 1969 season online instead of these few additional cards that probably will get sparingly used.

The "franchise league" people were complaining about not having full teams for the Rays, D-Backs, Rockies, Marlins, Padres, Mariners, Rangers, Expos, and the Blue Jays.

Only the Expos, Padres, Mariners and Marlins got on the poll.

We should have been able to nominate the teams. I would have preferred going back to nominating any player we want. It was a lot more fun and the community got involved. A lot of people were interested for a few weeks giving their opinions on players.

Here all we get is a few good players that already have better cards on here and a bunch of players that will only be used at lower caps. No good starters are coming out of these teams.

How does the 2004 Red Sox help all time greats? I would take 1986 Barfield over that entire team.

Why don't they just add them ALL? Or as it was said nominate teams. Not that these teams WOW me!

IMHO the Expo's are a very poor choice. We're not replaying that season so we won't find out how good they were etc.

We already have the best of Walker and a mediocre year. Their best player that year was Alou and we already have that card. Pedro's card will likely never seen action outside a 60M league. Do we really need a bunch of 15-game injury risks because SOM fails to take into account the strike shortened season?

The 2002 Angels are much worthier IMHO in terms of what they can add to the player pool that isn't there already. If we want to add more Expos for franchise purposes than use their best team from the 200x series.

Not a fan of Garcia's choices in general nor the way we are now getting 4 small additions each year. Used to be 20 a month.

I would have thought the White Sox an almost perfect pick. None of the starters or regular position players are in ATG.

I chose the Mariners because of Boone, but there are also some useful other cards that aren't in the set yet.

Mark McLemore's Seattle 2001 card looks interesting, for a possible low-priced utility card. He played all 3 OF positions, plus 2B, SS and 3B, all pretty decently as far as I can see from his range factors. His OPS+ is 115 and he's a switch hitter who's very effective against LHP.
If he isn't priced too high, that could be a very useful card, and the kind of sub card we're looking for. This team had a lot of depth, and there are other good backup cards.

Gotta agree with you Druid - lot of very usable guys on that team.

It doesn't look like there was much thought put into these selections. Worthier Montreal teams, some good Arizona, Houston, Toronto and Florida teams are out there. I won't be voting for any of these.

Ditto the pre teams, every team is a computer generated chevy version. Have no interest in any of them. Could find dozens of super-advanced teams to add.

Still waiting on the 1953 and 1969 super-advanced cards to replace the computer generated cards from those years as was done with 1938, 1961 etc.
