Here is an announcement made by SOM tonight on a Live Draft League that drafted two nights ago.

Attn: BADA BING Saturday Live Draft

The owner of the Total Moron Arkinals has been removed from the league, and we have reversed all the transactions he made after he had decided to intentionally sabotage his roster. His initial drop of Earl Averill has been left intact because at that time he was within his right to make that move.

We apologize for the trouble that he caused, and hope you enjoy your season!

Holy cow! dropping your entire roster for .50 players is probably a good sign that you have decided to quit the game.

I've been in a lot of league with the guy who always names his team "Arkinals" and I don't ever remember anything even close to this.

Or is this someone trolling him by using his name and then tanking

I think that's the same guy who got offended about people trash talking when the league was called the trash talk league.

Yes it is the guy with the trademark symbol. He claims to be the CEO of a major company etc. and recently did the same thing in a live draft league (that is still playing out the season), but which I was not a part of. I've played in leagues against him for the past 11 years and he has always come off as a bit odd, just not this decompensated.

This time around he dropped Earl Averill just after the draft, which because it was a live draft, perturbed at least several other managers in the league, as dropping a 10+ M player for nothing can easily disturb the competitive balance of the league. Divad, formerly Arkinals, who now includes Arkinals in all his team names, got into it with Salty and launched all sort of ad hominem attacks against Salt. I then posted about having an epiphany about what TM stood for, not trademark but Total Moron.

After many more posts attacking Salt and to a lesser extent myself, Divad changes his name to Total Moron Arkinals and after a flurry of further, mostly one-sided, exchanges, decides to punish us by gutting his team.

So SOM stepped in and took over the team. Amazingly, he continues to post largely unintelligible rants in the league mail, another half dozen today.

Since he has done that before I am surprised he isn't perma banned. He must spend a lot lol
