Jack Perconte Homers ... What am I missing???

Somehow in the 8th inning of a game last night Jack Perconte homered off of Chad Bradford ...

Perconte hit ZERO HR's in the real world, has ZERO HR's on his card, is "W" power vs. both righties and lefties. It says the roll was 5-5 and 5-5 is not a HR on Chad Bradford's card, in fact Chad Bradford does not have any HR's on his card.

What am I missing???

5-5 on Bradford's card is a triple/double split vsL so Perconte got the triple roll. He then got the advanced game option of stretching it to a Home Run (inside the park). maybe your opponent has his settings on aggressive or normal and HAL took the chance to stretch it from a triple to a homer....and succeeded.

Actually I was the hitter, and have base running set to "Normal".

I guess a pat on the back is in order for Jack Perconte!

well congrats then. and yes, normal is still rather aggressive in game play, so HAL obviously went for it.
