I just checked the boards and see no posts today until this. I remember when the boards were lively.

I will try to help :) Here's a post. But good point, the days of yore are gone. I really think Bobby added a lot to the boards and overall zeitgeist. He long ago left SOM, but I will always remember Bobby's Las Vegas tournaments as the most unique, fun-loving era of this game. What happened in Las Vegas stays in my heart and mind! And Bernie was a great addition before it moved over to SOM. Good to meet you there and all the others. :D  :ugeek:  ;)

Hey guys...just checking back again (I do this every month or so and sent a post a few days ago and want to see who it pissed off). As for "fallen" and all, upon reflection I must agree with Hack...or Bruce Springsteen (everything dies, baby, that's a fact...) It was good while it happened and we were lucky to be there when it did. Things change, people grow up and/or die. Them's the rules and we should be okay with it.

As for playing this here game in these here conditions...I'll let everyone decide that on their own. Myself, I'll stick with bowling at 3 in the morning with Ty, Munich in leidenhosen and the rest of us. Good times.

That brings back some fun memories. Back in high school there was a bowling alley that was open 24 hours.
And after midnight you could bowl 3 games for just a dollar. That's right one buck.
I would come home from school, go work at a department store, get off at 10, take a nap, get up and go bowl a dozen games.

Would have to take out a second loan on the house to bowl a dozen games now. And my arm would probably call me some bad names and refuse to participate.
