I have an unlimited cap league with heavily RH hitting roster and wondering if Stars Park would be a fit?
Anyone have experience here? Lineup includes:
Hartnett
McGwire
Hornsby (1922 or 1924)
Arod/Schmidt
Jeter/Loudreau
MEdwick/L Gonzo
Mays
Aaron
Teddy
Walsh
Mathewson
TFB
Sutton.
It seems no on uses this park in my experience.

I'm trying it out myself right now.
http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/team/1413729 .
Rodriguez Ivan c 6.69
Howard Ryan 1b 6.88
Stanky Eddie 2b 6.14
Weaver Buck 3b 2.92
Bowa Larry ss 2.87
Robinson Frank lf 8.03
Mays Willie cf 11.69
Sosa Sammy rf 7.19
SPS
Kaat 5.47
Buhl 4.55
Caldwell 3.25
Hensley 1.47
Morton .54
I'm 40-35 in 2nd 6 games out. 20-16 at home. 20-19 away. Sosa, Howard, and Rodriguez are struggling a bit. Not much data but it's something. I realize huge cap difference but maybe you can extrapolate something.

Here's a 100 mil franchise team, one of the few championships to have come my way.
http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/team/803990I know it's far from the cutthroat world of unlimited, but maybe there are some lessons here. (Lessons that I should probably heed).

I like Stars and have used it 3 or 4 times. Here is a 200 mil team that started 4-24, but then rallied strong to finish 84-78.
http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/team/1380458and an 80 mil team that won a championship
http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/team/1400123The only thing I wonder about using Stars with that team is you don't have many lefties, and Stars is not an awful lefty park. You might be better off with a more righty park like Municipal 57 or Cleveland 57 where your righty hitters and righty pitchers have a bigger advantage over the presumably stacked lefty lineups you will see.

I've seen Stars a number of times. Honestly can't remember the teams doing well or poorly. Just another bomber park to me. I'd put that team in the 1-1-1-8 County Stadium myself, but I'm a pitcher's park sort of guy.

Good suggestions, thanks!
In these unlimited leagues the pitching is so good and deep that usually some sort of hitters park is preferred.
Maybe Fenway 71 for these guys.

You need to be in Minute Maid, if it's not too late. L = 3/3, R = 11/16

Thanks, I went Fenway 71, started last Monday. Nothing special yet, 8-7.
