HAL displayed his flawless journalistic instincts yet again when he neglected to mention Van Mungo's no-hitter in the headline of a game last night:
http://onlinegames.strat-o-matic.com/game/428362/153 It should come as no surprise that the overall league-level headline for the night was "Ryan Howard hits 3 HRs in 9-7 loss to Thunderbolts7". For HAL, 3 HR in a loss is even more exciting than the usual 2.

To put it mildly, here's one recap that really did surprise me this morning, including the spelling of surprise.
"After an out was recorded, Jeffcoat stepped up to the plate and he suprised everyone by stealing home plating another run."
Guys named Hal sometimes can take liberties with the game.

I also like "by stealing home plating". Where is a comma when you need one?

Mungo gave the home town fans an afternoon that they'll never forget. He walked 2 Rock batters.
Start to paragraph two, just wonderful
