Why not a Pure Dice Roll Option

There is another thread discussing peoples different levels of angst in over the "hidden" parts of the 365 algorithm.

It seems to that just like their is an option between DH or no DH, it would be great if a league could be set up that simply duplicates the exact outcomes of the cards, without any of the enhancements.

Many of us would like to see what its like to play the actual cards.

Perhaps we won't like the results, but it would be nice to see it.

Also think it would be just as good to know which modifiers we are playing under-- that would serve a good purpose as well.

r u classifying a modifier as "keeping hitter/pitcher dice rolls fairly equal or something else? do consider #hr and $singles a modifier?

A modifier would be something in the program you don't see on the card.

For example-- the home increase.

I suspect very strongly that there are TONS of these in play--
and my suspicion, which Ive mentioned multiple times comes from at one time me having the original floppy diskette that SoM sent out to customers as a sample to try the computer game.
In it next to a players box there were plusses OR minuses listed which were explained by things like team winning streak, personal hitting streak etc.

So far example a guy might have a +4 next to his name or some such.

gotcha. you can do that in strategic war gaming, i.e. vary your unit strength, fatigue factor, experience level, etc. easy to do.

Some what off-topic, is there a link to the defensive rating charts to show probabilities of "X"s becoming hits or outs?

you might also find the chart that compares 1 to 2's to 3 's, etc. i.e. at 1/26 is equal to a 2/10. that's not the exact ratio but an example

I have seen that chart, it is helpful.
