I am sure I am not the only one to miss the 1969 card set. I never actually got a chance to play it, I wish they would bring it back...

I have asked this before so I am not expecting an answer but does anyone know where I can find the salaries TSN assigned to the 1969 cards? I would be much more likely to buy this season roster for the computer game if I could find the old salary spread sheet somewhere..?? Maybe someone has a link to a 1969 league ? Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

Here is a link to one of my 1969 teams. You can click on view other teams in the league to see their rosters and player salaries:

I, too, would like to play that set. Why is that not available?

Just asking. I've never played the computer game. Can you manage game to game or is it like online? i.e. setting lineups and strategy for a 3 game series.or

You are the GM. You do not get to manage each game. It is as you say, setting lineups, rotations, bullpen assignments, pinch hitters, defense, etc...

Anyone else care to post their 1969 teams from back when it was around? Thanks.

I have played the current "computer game" version, which is downloadable and also available on a CD. As the manager you are calling the shots play by play so you have a lot more control than in the online game. The manager settings can be human vs human, human vs computer, or computer vs computer. There is also a player draft option, with manual and automatic settings. However, there are no assigned salaries for the players, so drafts results don't compare with the online, salary-limited leagues. Also, all the MLB seasons are available for purchase. This infomercial is over now.

I have played SOM every way possible and you will not find competition like here at the on-line game anywhere else.

Nice team JawiJedi! I can't believe Cesar Tovar stole 62 bases for you, awesome!
