Sorry to hear of his passing. I actually have a Garagiola story - I went to a Dodger game with my Aunt who was a Senior VP with Security National Bank and had the Corporate boxes for the day. As she had physical problems and had to use a wheelchair, we were taking the elevator from the ground level to the Club level. As we got on the elevator two gentlemen followed us on - Vin Scully and Joe Garagiola!!! They both politely said hello, asked us how we were doing and then started talking about stuff related to the game. It was one of my Aunts favorite story ever.
