Ninth inning, my closer comes on with a one-run lead and Eddie Joost (2e30) cones on to replace the uninjured, superior defending Tony Fernandez (1e33). Game was closed out, no effect from the move, but curious. Does the error rating trump all? I have no boxes or preferences ticked that should produce this outcome otherwise.

Hal is certainly acting as if Joost is either listed in the defensive substitution box or else Fernadez has a checkmark for remove for defense purposes, better double check that or else this is just an error in the program.

My guess is Tony was tired from hitting that double and scoring (based on his stats its looks like he's not used to be being on base).

I recently went with Injury Eddie Collins with Bingo Demoss set at a D replacement at 2B and the "Remove" box checked for Collins. It wasn't happening in either blowout wins or close contests.

Sent support an email, they asked for links to the games which I provided.

The team proceeded to go on a streak where there were no leads late in the games, so nothing could be verified. After a 1-8 streak, the team finally took a lead into the 9th, and, Bingo! Subbed as desired.

So if you're on a hot streak, don't complain, it kicks off a losing streak.
