My $60 mil ATG team sits just under .500 after 30 games with a +25 run dif and a 1-7 record in 1 run games. Is this just bad luck? How patient should I be?

A lot of money in SP for 60 million league! Dont know if bullpen good enough to support them. I think 1 run games are result of POLO Grounds. Almost no hits then BAM! A Home Run then another. Its a bit fickle as a lot of games just come down to who gets most solo homers. How are your BP home run ratings? I think your experiment interesting and with possibilities as your pitching should sustain you on the road.

I'm going to chalk it up to bad luck so far. My opponents are batting .217 with a .273 OBP versus the Millers .248 avg and .322 OBP. The Millers have hit 10/22 BPHR's versus 6/8 for my opponents. Of my 8 losses in 1 run or xtra inning games, only three have been due to the bullpen. Clearly the dice hate me.

i play this park often. The teams do tend to underperform their diff, but they still win if you run up enough diff. That's hard to do with a payroll of $60m. I often approach 400 hr here at $100m but your pace is more like one per game -- you just don't have the money to maximize your home-park advantage.
