New League: Major League Baseball 2 PASSWORD is MLB2
1. Team will enter the league based on division that their franchise selection is placed in the list below. If you wish to change the name of your franchise to one of your minor league affiliates you may do so however the team name must be the actual name of one of your major league clubs. Your managers name should reflect a former manager of your one of your franchises.
2. Fill out your draft list with players that have played during their major league career with one or more of the teams listed in your organization, please do not select Negro League players, Negro League cards are not available until waiver selections are made with the exception if they have played a regular season game with one of the major league teams you have chosen to enter into league. If you have more than one Negro League card after draft please release the highest priced Negro League card first from your roster before any other.
3. I am certain that after the draft is complete we will all have players on our roster that have not played for any of your list of teams, these players are not eligible to be traded, you must release their card during waiver period which will occur two days after original draft at 5 PM ET. Any roster discrepancies are easily corrected with the players that are not eligible being listed as player to be released into free agency as free agents are added. I know you can only release one player before waivers but that is no problem, this issue can be easily corrected when waivers are processed.
4 If you have a player that is eligible for your club as well as another franchise in the league and the same is true for the player your acquiring then a trade prior to the waivers is allowed. You can not benefit from trading a player that shouldn't be on your roster and is not eligible to play on your roster, they must be released during waiver acquisitions. Remember you can not trade a player who is not eligible to play for one of your franchises even if your acquiring a player card who may be eligible.
5 Please enter your member name next to franchise of your choice below, if you wish to change the name to a minor league affiliate of your team now is the time to choose a different name. Here is an example: If your a Mets fan and prefer New York Mets in place of New York Yankees you may change.
6 I would like to play as the Pittsburgh Pirates and my minor league affiliate would be the Philadelphia Phillies - All players that have played a game for Pittsburgh or Philadelphia during their major league careers are available for my team roster.
7 Please understand that the Strat-O-Matic Card has only a few seasons listed and may not have all the eligible teams listed for a particular player. There are several baseball websites that will list a players career statistics and their teams, you will have to do your homework.
8 Please select your team's home park from the list of stadiums where home games were played during your selected franchise or affiliates team's history.
9 The league will load teams based on division, if your selection is a Central Division club you will enter league in openings 5, 6, 7, and 8, if your a Western Division club, you have to wait until slots 9, 10, 11, or 12 are available before joining league.
10 I realize that this league may not be for everyone, I have tried to be creative by selecting affiliates that will balance the rosters and will allow everyone an opportunity to win a pennant.

We are looking for 12 managers who are willing to try something a little different than the standard league, who will follow the league guidelines, and play to the best of their ability throughout the 162 season.
As organizer of the league I will listen to any suggestions to improve game play and I will try to make decisions that are reasonable and fair for all participants. I think this has potential to be a terrific format and fun for everyone.
If you would like to join then simply add your Strat-O-Matic Member name next to the franchise of your choice and begin work on your roster, have your players selected and ranked so that when it's your turn your to enter your ready to go.
The league will be name will be MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL 2 and the salary cap is 250 Million, PASSWORD is MLB2.
