We are looking to replace a manager for a keeper league - the SBDL (Same But Different League). We are about to start season 43, and one of our long time managers has bowed out.
The league has a limited player pool (limited by groupings of letters by last name of players - although keepers are exempt) and a 3-1-3 keeper format (teams pick 3 keepers, then there is a steal round, then each team may name 3 more keepers. Then there is a 6 round draft (usually on diamond dope) followed by autodraft for the rest of the roster.
The team up for grabs has a strong potential keeper base in my opinion (Pedro Martinez, Greg Maddux, Willie Mays, Al Rosen, Roberto Clemente, Ivan Rodriguez) for the upcoming season.
also, the player pool (letter choices) will reset with season 45.

For the upcoming season (season 43), the active letter groups (by first letter of last name) are:
Pitchers - A,B,C,E,H,J,K,M,N,P,Q,S,U,V,W,Y,Z
Hitters - C,G,J,N,O,R,S,T,V
keepers again are exempt from these groupings
....and for future reference
P,F,Q hitters will be added to the player pool when we get to season 44 (and a random letter group will retire)
season 45 each manager will select a letter group to add, and we will have a reentry draft (no keepers from season 44).
