So here's this off-hand comment from Garcia's blog post today ...

The ATG additions are also being worked on but are still a few weeks out with the 2016 set the priority now. I'll have a better update on the ATG players next week.

Say what ???

I guess they can't do two things at once, they are a very small company, it is too bad.

I think a big reason for the reduced participation may have been that the polls were never 'announced' in the Stratomatic news section on the front office page like the previous one was...

The Texas Rangers are severely NOT represented as a set, I do NOT understand the absence of 1989 Jeff Russell card. It would likely be a $4.5ish M RP and a good addition IMO.

I've pushed for a better Michael Young, but the problem with him is, his better offensive seasons he either has a poor defensive rating, or did not play SS. I think a Young addition should be at SS; I don't see him as a great value at 3b.

I completely missed that there were polls.

I've asked them to add the World Series teams as a matter of course. It would automatically give us something for every cap and tease us to the latest 20xx set. Should be easy to do. But I never got a reply. I also suggested a quarterly raffle where one atg player gets to pick 5 cards addressing what they think as a need. Some would give us 5 Rangers, others 5 Expos, whatever. No reply either. Maybe if others joined in emailing them.

They were announced in the ATG thread. And I don't quite understand how you could miss that there were polls. There is a complete thread just for ATG Card discussion. ;) On my computer, when there are comments that I haven't read since the last time, the icon next to the thread name is red. Of course, there are threads that I don't read (mystery games, for example), but for card additions I always make sure that I read them.
