Only two switch hitters have won the American League MVP Award.
One player should be very easy to name, the second maybe not as much.
Can you name both AL Switch hitting MVPs?

I would guess number 7, the Mick, would be the easy one?

Mickey Mantle is the easy one, yes.
By the way, 8 different switch hitters won a National League MVP Award.

You're right, Andy. It's not someone you would think of offhand. (I had a general idea and looked it up, but I won't say who it is, just to say he's a colorful figure, and he's still alive).

This is quite possibly the best baseball trivia question ever. The easy, obvious answer and the impossible answer in one.

I am a little surprised Roberto Alomar never won an American League MVP.
