Sitemail "outbox"

When I try to send sitemail I get a message that says the email was successfully sent, but in reality it sits in the outbox and is not sent. I've emailed SOM with no response. Anyone else experience this issue?

Outbox means your intended recipient has not yet read your PM. When he does, it'll move to Sent
