I know that there are a lot of math guys among us, and there might even be some theatre lovers around here (besides me). This article is a nice look at the math of coin tosses that some of us non-math guys might understand and that some of the real math guys might find interesting:

Cool article, it made me remember a story that the late Al Rosen told about having to go to the American league office in 1978 [He was the Yankee president at the time] to participate in a coin toss to decide where the Yankee /Red Sox play-off game would be held to decide the A.L. championship. He choose heads and lost the toss and the game would be played in Fenway. Now he had to tell the BOSS , George was furious and started yelling "what the hell is wrong with you picking heads don't you know tails comes up 75 percent of the time " Bill
