Std and Adv League difference

Can someone please tell me the difference between a Std and Adv league? Thank you.

SOM used to have manager ratings based on number of wins, championships won, etc. A standard league would give you points for winning. An advanced league would give you even more points. SOM did away with manager ratings so now there is absolutely no difference between a standard league and an advanced league.
