That is 9 games pitched in 9 games played so far.

My own Flash Gordon is "only" 8 in 9.

Another achieving performance by SOM computers I guess.

Thanks for posting this, Marc. I hope this will be fixed. Pfiester comes in at F9, and although his duration is "5," he tires after less than 2 innings.

So there are at least two problems. One, Pfiester shouldn't come in more than 2 games in a row unless the save-max rule is being used (I never ever use that rule, so we can rule that out). I doubt Marc is using it either for Flash Gordon, but I don't know that for sure. Nine in a row?! I have never seen that before.

The second problem is that Pfiester is tiring in his second inning of work each and every game. Pfiester should not be tiring prior to 4-6 innings (except once in a while where he gets hit very hard).

In fact, the only reason Gordon is only 8 games is probably because I clicked "avoid using in blow-out". The game he didn't pitch was a blow out.

SOM apparantly responded that some internal errors was affecting our gameplay, it should be fixed by tonight.

Pfiester has pitched second and third game of every series since the opening 9 straight. Through 33 games on pace for 440 innings and 40+ wins

Pfiester will end up with 111 games pitched (would be 108, but for the bug over the first nine games). Pfiester will end up with right about 450 innings. Main variable is how early the starters are knocked out.

Wins and saves, harder to predict, but he will almost certainly hit 30 wins at the least. Is he worth the 7+ million spent on him? Maybe, maybe not. At least it is closer to appropriate pricing than Murray, who at 5.99, is grossly underpriced. And Pfiester is not the picher Murray is, either. He has worse numbers against both lefties and righties.

Now, if you like it, plenty of other options to use besides Pfiester. If you don't like it, try this new league (see below) that I am forming!!!!!!!

This league is based off of Pacoboy's recent league, but with even stricter rules. It is an 80m, 24 team DH League with 5% transactions for the entire year.

It uses a special "shuffle deck" called "Chompsky Rules." All relief pitchers with relief duration of R3, R4 and R5 are taken out (so no Dale Murray, no 1977 Bruce Sutter, No Johnny Miljus, etc).

Further, all Starting pitchers with relief duration of R3, R4 and R5 are taken out (so no 1909 Babe Adams, no 1906 Ed Reulbach or 1907 Jack Pfiester, etc).

Lastly, all hitting cards with 350 or less at bats have been removed. So no Gates Brown .

league is PUBLIC - no password.

Look for the SHUFFLE DECK called "Chompsky's Rules"

Draft type: Auto List Draft
Salary Cap: $80,000,000
FA Drop Penalty: 5%
