Dale Murray: Five apps (nay, 10!) in a row, F9— how?

I thought relievers were immediately fatigued when entering for a third straight game. Dale Murray has pitched in five straight in my league, and he's been F9 every time. Anyone know why?

The card in question: http://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/38686/1974/1/100352/433739

Notice that Dale Murray has also given up 14 earned runs in those last 5 appearances. Send him to the Ranchers!!! Maybe he is just over fatigued. Reduce him to an R1.

Sincerely,
Delivery Boy..

It happened in our league. We had to send an email to the SOM management, and folks there answered back that some glitch happened prevailing the appropriate application of the fatigue rules.

"glitch" seems to be at the top of the vocabulary lists these days

Computer glitch = bad programming = human error

2 huge problems--

one is where is the acknowledgement of the error?
two is what are they doing to rectify the games affected by it?

I guess if you dont have one we dont get to two, so lets just sweep it under the carpet?

Looks like he got into a sixth straight game before having a night off. So that's a streak of 10 straight and six straight. He now has 33 appearances in 48 games—so on pace for 111 appearances.

That said, he is getting lit up and would *only* finish with about 197 innings at this pace. It looks like he is getting knocked out of F9 status far earlier than his tired inning. Which means, as frustrating as it is for opposing managers to see Murray trot out of the pen nightly, it's got to tick off the guy who drafted him that he isn't able to deploy him as he wants.
