Inflation Keeper League (2nd edition)

This theme was first done in 2015 and proved a fun and viable concept. So - here we go again - with one modification.

This is a four season commitment. The first two seasons use the ATG 8 pre-WWII set. Season 1 has an 80M cap, no dh and is restricted to deadball era players. Season II will have a 100M cap and includes all the pre WWII players including the Nel players. Season III will have a 120M cap and will include all players except NO expansion cards will be eligible. For example, the 1969 McCovey card may not be used in Season 3 but his pre 1967 cards are eligible for Season 3. Season 4 will be 140M with a dh, the only season to allow a dh, and the entire ATG8 player pool is eligible as are all the stadiums.

Each manager retains the rights to any players they owned in the previous season of the league, until waivers begin, when any player you do not draft, that you owned the previous season, becomes a free agent. In other words, no manager can list any players on their autodraft card that were owned by other managers the previous season.

Available parks are restricted to db parks for season 1, and then any prewar parks are okay for season two etc. Unique parks are NOT necessary.

I think I played in the first version. What is the one difference?

The first one was 60M for the db then increased in 20M increments. I chose that the first time to impose a cost on anyone trying to keep expensive db players like Ruth for all 4 seasons, as spending 13+ M on one player in a 60M league may not be the greatest strategy. This one starts at 80M and then increases in 20M increments. I just want better quality teams out of the box this time. That is the only difference. And you did play in the first edition. You won the league in season 3 despite having a 79-83 regular season record.
