I have a AAA stealing R. Henderson leading off.

He has an over .400 OBP, but after 60 games only has 12 SB attempts, stealing 10.

This past series, I set him Aggressive for steal, and the overall Team Agressive as well.

He reached base 7 times, and only attempted 1 steal. This happened in other series too. I realize some game situations preclude stealing, but in many instances, there doesn't seem to be a logical reason why he's not attempting a,steal.

What's up with this? Right now, Cobb, the SB leader has 30 attempts at this stage of season. This is hampering my overall strategy.

I dont see how.this could be the only reason but if most of your opponents have picture with strong hold ratings and strong armed catchers, It will also cut down on your steal attempts by reducing the possibility of a successful steal. Then if he doesn't get a good jump his success rate could be reduced below 50% which even on agresssive settings, he probably won't run. Probably a combination of bad rolls, strong defensive teams, and situations where running isn't conducive.
