After 69 games my Catchers have 32 of my teams 82 Errors. It feels like they are on pace to set some kind of record. My Starting Catcher has played in 42 games (as he keeps getting injured) has 19 errors so far and his backup has 13 errors in 33 games. I have never seen so many errors by catchers.
Your pitchers aren't particularly good at holding runners on so guys are stealing and with those throwing ratings you're going to get a ton of throwing errors. It might be a little high right now, but sadly I wouldn't expect it to slow down too much.
30 of the 34 catcher errors are throwing errors. The T ratings are killing you, even though Bresnahan's -2 arm may deter a few runners, it appears your opponents are running a lot trying to capitalize.
Bresnahan has played in 78 games and has 31 errors and his backup Nunamaker has played in 40 games and has 13 errors. I am wondering if there is a record for Catcher Errors in a season?
