It worked. He's only played at a .667 clip since you posted

Very interesting team design by manager "Always Terrible." His big two starting pitchers have 44 wins between them already. I look forward to seeing how many wins they are able to put together by the end of the season!

Update:
Now 108-39. Some injuries to contend with, but it seems Matt's team is full steam ahead.
Hopefully he will set a record!

An amazing record. but many times it also reflects a lack of competition. I didn't check all the teams, but there are at least a couple with depleted payrolls $72M and $74M, another sitting on almost $2M in unused payroll.

Great observation, an excellent team with a great record but I would love to have a 5 million plus advantage over my competition too

Agreed, I whiffed on my team, especially with the pitching, and sport a lowly 68-79 record.

I'd like to see a few of these "best team ever" rosters with the same salary cap placed in a 6-team league together and let them duke it out among themselves for supremacy.

Now he is 111-39. It is remarkable and praiseworthy!!
He designed a terrific team, with a kind of hybrid approach.
I've been in tough leagues and I've been in somewhat easier leagues. I've never passed 106 in ANY league. He is 72 games over .500 !!!!!!! Go Matt go!!!!

Indeed impressive! Too bad Hal will make him lose to the wild card team in the first round of the playoffs...
