I would play Banks over Tulo at SS. Luis G doesn't seem to produce up to his salary. Maybe Billy Williams instead, which would pay for the Banks upgrade and free up a bit more salary in the bargain.
Don't think Dernier will get on base enough to bat lead-off, but not sure what your options are.

Banks isn't an option at SS for the expansion Cubs.
If Gonzo doesn't come up with at least his 57 homers at Wrigley, Duke "The Baked Bean Dog" will not be a happy camper!!!
I'm counting on Dernier to walk a lot.
