Decades Galore league open!

Trying something different pick any 10 year period in baseball history and build your team and pick your stadium and lets rock! Just trying New ways to liven the game!

What about players that span different decades?
Luck of the auto draft or does high card rule?

And then if you get that player, do you have to use his card from the decade selected? Or any card?

I joined this league making certain assumptions

1. You can only play someone in your 10 year period.

2. You have exclusive rights to those players who only have cards within that 10 year period.

3. NeL cards (not the cards with years) are free agents at waivers. If you get such a player on your card prior to waivers you must release them prior to waivers.

4. I'm agnostic on trades, but I propose that you can only trade a player you have rights to, and if you make that trade, you unlock all available years to you. This would make it interesting. For example, if the owner with 1921-1930 trades you 1924 Dazzy Vance, you can play the 1924 Vance. Just a suggestion

ras, you say DH but you set up the league as NO DH. So if you want DH, you need to redo.

And what about my question on the players that span two decades?

You can only draft players from years you chose and with a 12 player league there may be two teams who pick the same 10 year period them the draft decides and waivers of course. Trades should be between teams who fall into same year range only. Negro league players should be a league consensus during waivers and you also should pick a stadium from the decade you chose!

If say a team chose 1975 to 1985 and second team chose 1972 to 1982 then those teams could trade players that are years they have in common only! That's way I believe is fair and any players that both draft from those years in common it's first come first serve via draft and waivers and free agency!

I don't think we should have duplicate decades. There are 11 decades from 1901 - present. Pre 1901 can count as the 12th.

Regarding NeL, the rules should be clear now, not decided after the autodraft.
