RIP Nick Cafardo, an all time great

All of us who love baseball mourn the sudden death of Nick Cafardo today. We will miss his writing and reporting and his gentle nature, which I can attest TO because I know some baseball writers personally. Everyone spoke highly of Nick. Don’t believe me, search ‘Nick Cafardo’ on Twitter. Then read Shaughnessy below. Nick carried on the great tradition of baseball writing in the Boston Globe. SIgh. RIP.
