i was reading about the rise in AAA homers and runs scored due to their using major league baseballs. The stitching is smaller in major leagues (causes less movement i guess).

i came across discussions of a potential change in rubbing down balls prior to a game (An aside: My nine year old got a ball a few weeks ago at a StL v Atl game. Paul Goldschmidt signed it for us). i learned that Lena Blackburne of ATG fame cornered the market for mlb baseball mud long ago (comes from the Delaware river banks).
