Just concluded a season where another owner's team got bumped out in the semi's after 100 win season...My thought....wouldn't it be okt to automatically win a free credit for each hundred win season "if" you get bumped in the Semis? Wouldn't break SOM's bank....I dunno we've all been there....just seems like it would be cool to do.

I always thought that a credit of .25 should be awarded for the two teams eliminated in the first round of the play-offs would be a nice gesture . I am sure they could afford to do something like that and it would take the sting out of having made the play-offs after a long season and getting the eliminated with nothing to show for it.

Keeping it simpler ...

How about a freebie for whatever team has best record in the league?

Or better yet (and cheaper for Strat) any team with over 100 wins gets a freebie. It wouldn't be all that costly because looking back over my last 10 completed seasons, there were only two 100 win teams total out of the 120+ teams.

And yes, I believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and the 100 Win Curse.

Makes sense. To gain perspective, here is breakdown of who got what for their success in the 2017 season:
Houston players each made 438,901.57. The Los Angeles Dodgers each made $259,722.14 despite losing the World Series, while players for the New York Yankees ($138,000), Chicago Cubs ($133,000), Arizona Diamondbacks ($40,000), Boston Red Sox ($36,000), Cleveland Indians ($36,000), Washington Nationals ($36,000), Colorado Rockies ($18,000) and Minnesota Twins ($18,000) were also rewarded.

So if you do the math there's no reason SOM should not award .16404610606 (36,000/438,901.57) credits to a semi-final team and .082023 credits to a wild card team.

I'm still pissed off
